Physician of the Year Award
The LSMS annually seeks nominations for our “Physician of the Year Award”.

This award is given to a member physician of the Lake Superior Medical Society who “consistently demonstrates qualities that patients and physicians recognize as defining excellence in medical care delivery”.

Interested parties are encouraged to write a letter nominating a physician who practices in Southern St. Louis, Carlton, Lake, and Cook Counties- along with neighboring Superior, Wisconsin clinics. Briefly describe why you feel this physician should be given the award. Physicians nominated for the honor will be further considered by a panel of physician members of the Lake Superior Medical Society. The next award will be presented in December 2009.

The Physician of the Year for 2008 was Dr. Ernest Peaslee, M.D.
